One World Observatory Opens in NYC

One World Observatory, the observation deck atop One World Trade Center in the Northwest corner of the World Trade Center site, opened to the public on Friday, May 29. The elevator ride to the top takes 60 seconds, and includes a virtual time-lapse inside the elevator that recreates the development of New York City’s skyline from the 1600s to present day.

Stunning panoramic views will thrill visitors on the top three floors of the building, which is the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere, according to the hospitality firm Legends, which operates One World Observatory.
